Director of Sport appointment: September 2023
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Edwards as our new Director of Sport starting in September 2023. Ben will join us from Reed’s, where he is currently Academy Sports Director, and brings to the role wide-ranging experience that includes coaching for England Hockey and as Head Coach to Teddington Hockey Club’s Men’s 1st XI, alongside time coaching many other sports, most notably tennis, cricket, golf and athletics.
Ben said: “Having been involved in many competitive matches against KGS throughout my career I am thrilled to be moving to the other dug out. KGS has a prestigious reputation for both high performance and inclusive sporting opportunities and I look forward to carrying on the excellent work of Andy Watts and his team.”
Ben already knows KGS well and will be working with the Sport Department on a period of handover during the Summer term.
